Montemaggiore specializes in Syrah because it's our favorite varietal—but above all, our terroir yields Syrah grapes with exceptional flavors! Due to our focus on a single varietal, we can research, experiment, and perfect the growing and vinification of Syrah to bring you world-class wines.
We produce two wines every year, a Syrah and a Cabernet/Syrah blend, and in certain vintages a limited release such as a Reserve. Below you will find reviews, awards, and purchase information on each of Montemaggiore's wines.
- New releases represent our most recent and exciting introductions and may only be available directly from us.
- Currently released wines are in general retail circulation, and should be available in wine shops and restaurants.
- Library wines are no longer in circulation although information is provided for those who did obtain previous releases and have cellared them. Limited amounts of library wines may be available directly from us.

The latest release of our flagship wine displays our new look. The elegant, sophisticated label perfectly mirrors the wine inside, which you may recognize from prior vintages with it's smooth, complex palate layered with black fruit aromas.

Our special blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah combines the best of both varietals. A classically elegant wine with a juicy berry aroma underpinned by complex spiciness. Very smooth on the palate, with a long finish!

Although low-yielding, 2004 was an exceptional vintage for quality. While our flagship Syrah shows the hallmarks of prior vintages (black fruit, solid structure, smooth finish), this wine is especially structured and intense.

This Cabernet and Syrah blend sports a new red label—and has the vitality to match. Succulent black cherry and kalamata tapenade aromas balance a smooth, full-bodied structure.

Six barrels from the top of Paolo's Vineyard were selected for our special Hilltop Reserve. The soils from the hilltop are the rockiest, the grapes are the most flavorful, and the wine is the most intense. Only 150 cases produced.

The second vintage of our flagship wine combines pure lush blackberry notes with toasty oak and white pepper highlights. For those who appreciate a very balanced wine with lots of breadth and depth, it will never disappoint!

The inaugeral release of our flagship wine is laser-focused: lots of black fruit with good structure and a long, smooth finish. May be purchased as part of the "Special Syrah Vertical".

A perfect marriage of Cabernet and Syrah: the structure and spice from the Cab underpins the berry flavors of the Syrah. If you love Cabernet Sauvignon or Super Tuscan-style wines, you'll love this wine. Cellar-worthy for at least 10 years.
